Hello Again
I just realised I hadn’t posted the projects that we made at Stampin Up! Regionals using our new stamps from the Summer Mini! It was a bit of a sneak peek at the time, so I didn’t want to give too much away too early, but thought you might like to see these projects now which also give some great ideas for using Summer Mini products!
These projects all use the Hello Again stamp set and Retro Remix Standard Wheel.
The first card is a very cute “Hello” card using the flower and butterfly with some More Mustard and Old Olive card. The ribbon is from the Valet Ribbon Originals set.

This cute box uses the Retro Remix wheel with the flower and some cute ric rac from the Pigtails Ribbon Originals set.

This 6 x 6″ scrapbooking page creates pretty windows using the Scallop Square punch and also uses the heart and part of the flower from the Hello Again set, plus the Retro Remix wheel. It also has a Rose Red and Pumpkin Pie flower from the Flower Fusion felt flowers pack and the words are from the Define Your Life stamp set. The litle piece of Whisper White with Pumpkin Pie striped ribbon poking out on the left side is a little journalling tab that tucks away neatly!

This last card uses the little heart from this stamp set, punched out with the 1″ Circle Punch. We also made a very simple but effective frame by cutting a square out of the middle of a square, using our Paper Trimmers. It’s finished off with a little library clip and some Tangerine Tango striped ribbon.

I’ll be back soon with some more Summer Mini projects and sneak peeks and plenty more ideas for using the new products!

Christmas Stamp-a-Stack Cards
I’ve been a bit busy lately with plenty of crafting and stamping!
I was so busy that my new pre-order products from the brand new Summer Mini arrived on Wednesday and I didn’t get a chance to play with them til late Friday night!! I have a sneak peeks that I want to show you as well, so stay tuned…!
I had a wonderful group of girls over for a Christmas Stamp-a-Stack on Wednesday and we had a great time, as we always do! These are the Christmas cards that the girls made, using the Season of Joy stamp set (my fave all-rounder Christmas set because it is so versatile) and my new Punch Pals stamp set (my new fave because it is just so cute!).
The first four are Season of Joy cards:
These two cards used the Real Red, Old Olive & Chocolate Chip markers to create a multi-coloured image that is simple but gives a great effect.
Some Christmas baubles using the snowflake and swirl image and some Circle Punches:
Some pretty Christmassy flowers (this is a great design to make in bulk – just stamp lots of swirls on pieces of white card, a page full of flowers, cut them out and voila!).
The next four cards used the Punch Pals set with some cute snowmen and penguins – the girls fell in love with these cuties! I’m not normally a huge fan of snow images for Christmas, seeing as we don’t really get anything remotely snow-like at Christmas in Australia, but these stamps won me over!
Meet Mr Snowman:
And his friend, Mr Penguin:
Mr Snowman with his Christmas tree and a little bit of faux snow!
And the forest where Mr Snowman lives… or a whole bunch of Christmas trees, I’m not sure! Maybe this is the Tree Farm where you go to pick out your Christmas tree… !!
If you need to get supplies to make your own Christmas cards, then just call or email me to place your order so you can get started soon.
If you would like to make it even easier to make your own Christmas cards, just choose one of my Christmas cards that you like, tell me the number of cards you want to make and I can design a pack for you with all the supplies you need and have it delivered to your door!! I’ll even include your own copy of the card you want to use for inspiration!
Now that definitely takes the stress out of Christmas planning!!
Happy Christmas stamping!

A Klass Act October Team Day
It has taken me a little bit to get back and show the photos and projects from Saturday’s Team Day. I’ve been busy making personal cards – for weddings, birthdays and thankyous!
Our Team Day was a great day of catching up, chatting and stamping together – even though most of us had seen each other the Saturday before at Regionals!
Here are the projects that we made:
A very funky Gift Box, designd by Nicole, that kind of popped up when you pulled up the lid. In the photo above it is closed, and then when you untie the ribbon and pull up the top, it looks like this:
Then you can fill it with goodies! It is such a unique style of box and a great template – I will definitely be making more of these!
This one is a super cute A4 Scrapbooking page designed by Amanda using the Petal Pizzazz and the *new* Hello Again stampset (sneak peek from the new Summer Mini!):
The third project was a Technique card designed by Chantell, which involved creating a cool background using wax paper, ink refills and an iron!
We also made Christmas swap cards and I received lots of gorgeous cards in return for my swap cards (mine were the same design that I made for Regionals last week).
This stunning and very detailed card with baubles was made by Janny Klass:
This card was made by Louise Tomlinson using the Tree Trimmings set:
This card was made by Sandi Spence and uses the Season of Joy set:
This card was made using the Eastern Blooms set by Nicole Woodcock:
This card using Season of Joy by Narelle Newcombe:
This cute little Santa box was made by Chantell Randall:
This gorgeous card with a little window using the Simply Said set by Tracey Wilson:
My fave butterfly stamp was used for this card by Natalie Zapantis:
This card using the Season of Joy stamp set by Rachel Poga:
I also received a special little prezzie from Sarah for promoting to Supervisor during the last 3 months so she made this cuper cute little Post-It Note Holder for me:
All up, it was a very fun-filled afternoon and I can’t wait for our next one! It won’t be until January though, so I will have to wait a little while!

My Christmas Class cards
I have been busy with Christmas Card Classes lately, but now that I have had my last class, I wanted to show you the cards that we made. The girls all made 4 cards and a 3D project and they all enjoyed trying new ideas and techniques!
The first card is a great masking idea that I CASEd from my upline Sarah Klass:
It’s very simple to make but looks so effective (like you have been busy for hours!!) so it’s a great one to mass produce! It’s also pretty flat which is handy for mailouts. You punch a template in scrap paper to mask the background, wheel over it with a So Swirly wheel in Not Quite Navy, sponge with Baja Breeze ink and then add glitter to the swirls.
“Christmas Glitter Baubles”
Stamps: Occasional Greetings, So Swirly Roller
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Ink: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Basic Black (Journaller)
Accessories: 1 3/8” & 1 ¼” Circle Punch (for template), Two-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Sponge, Stampin Dimensionals
This one uses the Season of Joy stamp set:
It’s a bit hard to see but the flowers are VersaMarked in the background.
“Christmas Season”
Stamps: Season of Joy
Paper: Real Red, Old Olive, Whisper White, Ski Slope DSP
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive, Baja Breeze, Basic Black, VersaMark
Accessories: ½” & ¾” Circle Punch, Vintage Brad, Stampin Dimensionals
This one involved a bit of watercolouring and my new Christmas stamp set “Punch Pals”:
“Christmas Tag”
Stamps: Punch Pals
Paper: Ruby Red, Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Ruby Red, Kiwi Kiss, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, VersaMark
Accessories: Aquapainter, Holepunch, Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Stampin Dimensionals
This card used the tree from Season of Joy:
“Christmas Tree”
Stamps: Season of Joy, Occasional Greetings
Paper: Kraft, Real Red, Whisper White, I Wish DSP (Scrapbooking Kit)
Ink: Whisper White, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Scallop Border Punch, Stampin Dimensionals
The 3D project was a cute little Scalloped Edge Giftbox which could fit chocolates, giftcards, tags or even hang on the Christmas tree:
“Christmas Scalloped Gift Box”
Stamps: Best Yet
Paper: Ruby Red, Whisper White, Old Olive, Holiday Treasures DSP
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive
Accessories: Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Holepunch, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Stampin Dimensionals
Need to get back to stamping some more Christmas cards for my own personal Christmas card list now!

Perth Regionals Swaps
After lots of hard work and much stamping and assembling, I managed to make 44 swaps for our Perth Regionals (scroll down for more details about this fabulous event!).
I decided to use a new stamp set from the 09-10 Ideas Book & Catalogue called Punch Pals and I made some Christmas card swaps. I created one main design for the card and then played around with the different cute stamps in this set in the main image section. I also used different colours of card & ribbon to match my watercoloured images.
Here are my swaps all packed up and ready to go:
And here is a closeup of my swap cards:
Those Punch Pals stamps are so cute! I stamped the images and watercoloured and on the snow ones, I also added some torn Whisper White sponged with Baja Breeze.
So, if I made 44 cards, I must have received 44 swap cards in return, right?
Well, are you ready…?! Here they are:
Wow! Hope you are as inspired as I am!
I’m off to do some more creating now!
“Christmas Tags”

Paper: Real Red/ Ruby Red, Kiwi Kiss/ Old Olive, Basic Grey/ Chocolate Chip
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red/ Ruby Red, Kiwi Kiss/ Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie/ Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip/ Baja Breeze, VersaMark

Perth Regionals – SO much fun!
WOW! What a day!
Yesterday was our Stampin Up! Perth Regionals and it was SO much fun! It was a day filled with socializing, chatting, meeting new people, listening to tips and techniques, swapping, lots of laughing, salivating (at all the wonderful ideas!) and of course, some stamping!!! It was just an amazing fun day!
Here’s some pics and details about our day…
When we first arrived at the Perth Convention Centre, we received our project packs plus our new stamp set and roller which was a sneak peek from the new Summer Mini – sorry girls, I can’t show you the stamps or projects until December! But trust me, they are very very nice!
Here is the ballroom filled with lovely stamping ladies!
As you can tell, there were a lot of ladies there!
We listened to some fantastic presentations, and some great Workshop Wows from demonstrators. My absolute favourite presentation of the day had to be a lovely lady named Bonnie, from Stampin Up in Utah. She was hilarious! So funny! I was laughing so hard while she was presenting!
After listening to some presentations, we were able to get to some stamping! Here is a photo of our stamping table with some amazing girls from our “A Klass Act” team:
We had so much fun chatting and stamping together and it really made the day even more wonderful to have such great girls to stamp with! Thanks girls!
There were so many displays and ideas for inspiring us all! I took heaps of photos of the display boards and different swaps, plus I also received some amazing swaps which I still have to photograph and show you.
Here are some great ideas & projects that were presented:
A sneak peek of some Summer Mini creations:
I ended up making 44 swaps to swap at Regionals (with the help of the wonderful Tilly who joined my assembly line on Friday night – Thanks Tilly!!). As soon as I got there I set off for some mad swapping and it was so much fun seeing all the amazing creations that everybody had made. There are some super duper talented people in Perth! I was so impressed!
I am still taking photos and editing so I will be back later with pics of the swaps I made and the ones that I received! Be ready to be blown away!

Christmas Card Class
Christmas is just around the corner (just over 10 weeks to go!!) and it’s time to start thinking about your Christmas card list. If you want to make some cards, tags, gifts or giftbags for Christmas, now is the time to start – so that you’re not finishing them all on Christmas Eve!!
This month I will be holding Christmas Card Classes at my house so that you can get some great ideas for making Christmas cards and make sure you have the supplies you need to prepare for the Christmas season.
At each Christmas Card Class, you will make 4 cards with matching envelopes and a 3D project which can be filled with goodies and used as a Christmas gift!
If you would like to see a little sneak peek of the projects we will be making, you can sign up to my email newsletter and get a special “mailing list only” sneak peek of the projects! Plus you will get to be regularly updated on projects, tips, events and specials that are on offer. Just email me at stampingspot@hotmail.com or click here and fill in your details to be added to my mailing list.
The cost for this class is $20 and this includes all supplies. All cards are designed and precut ready for you to stamp, colour and embellish!
These classes will be held on:
Wednesday 21st October at 7pm
Tuesday 27th October at 7pm
If you have a group of friends who would like to get together and make Christmas cards together, I can also run this class as a workshop at your house on a date that suits you! Classes are for 6 – 8 people. The projects and cost will be the same, but I will also bring a little gift for the hostess to say thankyou!

My September Stamp-a-Stack cards {part 2}
Here are the rest of my Stamp-a-Stack cards!
These two use the Always stamp set and showcase our very cool Certainly Celery ribbon that was a special freebie during the month of September. On the first one we coloured the heart with markers (one of my favourite techniques with this stamp set! The other being embossing!)
This one uses the bird from the Always set and the co-ordinatining Always in Bloom Wheel:
“Always 1&2”
Stamps: Always, Sweet Little Sentiments
Paper: Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Whisper White
Ink: Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Rose Red, VersaMark
Accessories: Scallop Border Punch, Certainly Celery Ribbon (Special Offer), Curvy Label Punch, Stampin Dimensionals
These cards use another favourite stamp set – Great Friend, plus a little bit of the Walk in the Park DSP.
This first one involved a little bit of cutting out!
“Great Friend 1&2”
Stamps: Great Friend
Paper: Cameo Coral, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Walk in the Park DSP
Ink: Cameo Coral, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Basic Grey, VersaMark
Accessories: Scallop Border Punch, Stampin Dimensionals
Here’s another pic of our trip to Phuket. This one was also taken at Phuket Zoo – a great place to visit! We watched the Crocodile Show and saw a man put his head inside a crocodile!! Scary stuff! Then we had our photo taken holding the croc’s tail!
I will be back with dates for my Christmas card workshops tomorrow! I have all the cards ready to go, and they look great! You will definitely want to come along and be a part of it!
