Birthday Wishes!

We had a great catch up with some girls from our team – “A Klass Act” – last week and some of the girls gave us a debrief of the recent Australian Convention! It was a great time of chatting and catching up and I’m looking forward to seeing them again tomorrow for our Team Day! (That will be great fun and we’re sure to do some amazing stamping, so stay tuned for more details about that!!)

Anyway, while chatting and looking at the girls swaps, I came across a card in the lovely Sarah’s display folder which inspired me to make the following card:

Birthday wish
It’s kind of simple, but I thought it made a good male birthday card and was still fun and funky! A few embellishments added a bit of extra pizazz to it and I think it turned out quite nice!

I then had another idea for a card I needed for a different occasion and was looking to use a “celebrate life” style of sentiment. So I came up with this –

Celebrate Life

I thought it was quite a good layout idea, because it could be altered to fit any 4 letter word, or even used with 4 different symbols or pictures. Each square has a little something to make it different and special, but it also works well altogether! It’s also simple enough to be good for manly cards while still having that little something special!

Thanks for sharing your card ideas, Sarah!
