Baby Shower Fun!

Last Saturday I had a busy day running around to 3 different parties in the space of 5 hours! Phew! I managed to squeeze in a 29th birthday lunch, a baby shower and a 7 year old’s birthday party!! Needless to say, I was kept busy with some card making the night before!

This is the card I made for my friend’s baby shower –

Welcome Little One2

I always enjoy making baby related cards – they’re just so cute! I usually go straight to the Nursery Necessities set, but decided this time to use the pram from the Fun & Fast Notes set. I stamped it on its own, coloured it in with markers (Barely Banana & Certainly Celery is a great colour scheme when the baby’s gender is unknown!) and chose a sentiment from Nursery Necessities that seemed appropriate for a baby shower! I added the Nursery Letters roller for the background and finished it off with a strip of DSP from the retired Spring Fling DSP (I bought extra of this before it retired as it is perfect for baby cards and gifts!).

“Welcome Little One”

Stamps: Fun & Fast Notes, Nursery Necessities, Nursery Letters roller

Paper: Barely Banana, Sage Shadow, Spring Fling DSP (retired)

Ink: Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, VersaMark, Basic Black

Accessories: Heart Brad (misc.), Stampin Dimensionals
