More Upsy Daisy

I have been using the Upsy Daisy stamp set at some recent workshops and showing the girls how easy and versatile it is to use! I thought I’d show you some of the creations that we have made.

This was the first selection of cards we made. The girls chose between a Rose Red card or Baja Breeze card. We stamped the daisy stamp once and used the Eyelet Border Punch or Scallop Border Punch on the Choc Chip cardstock. We used the Hostess DSP pack too, which is a great freebie you can get just for hosting a workshop!

Stamps: Upsy Daisy

Paper: Baja Breeze or Rose Red, Baja Breeze Patterns DSP or Regal Rose Hostess DSP, Chocolate Chip

Ink: Baja Breeze or Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Scallop Border Punch or Eyelet Border Punch, Stampin Dimensionals

Later I made a different type of Upsy Daisy card which I found inspiration for on Karen Thomas’   blog, but I changed it a bit to fit the colours and style that I wanted for a make-and-take. We used the daisy stamped next to itself to create a wider field of daisies and we also added a shadow using a different colour of ink. This was really fun and simple to make, but took a little longer as everyone was sharing the one Stamp-a-ma-jig! A few of the girls decided to be a bit creative and moved the lighter daisies up and across a bit more, so that rather than a shadow in a lighter colour, they had more dimension and it looked like a field thick with daisies in the background. I’ll have to give it a try and post it on here so you know what I mean!

Here is a close up of the shadow – don’t know if you can see it clearly. The camera didn’t like having the double line to focus on!!
