More Trendy Trees

I needed some thank you cards for some wonderful people who helped at school recently, so decided to use Trendy Trees. It was a great stamp set to use to make up multiple cards and also to make cards that were for males & females.

I made a few simple mini thank you cards  that were given with some chocolates but I also needed some cards with a gift card holder section for some people who had done a HUGE amount of work to help out!

I used the template I had found previously for this birthday card to make the gift card holders. I made some with Old Olive & Certainly Celery trees and Chocolate Chip bases and used these colours with a little So Saffron for the rest of the card.

Here’s the inside: (I accidently put this one together with the gift card flap at the top – but that kind of worked because it meant the writing was on the bottom half of the card where it would normally be. It means you can choose anyway!)

I also made some trees that were more Autumn looking using some markers and a bit of the rock n roll technique! I painted the tree tops using the Summer Sun (in the centre) & Pumpkin Pie markers and then rock n rolled the edges onto a Ruby Red inkpad to get nice autumnal colours!

I enjoyed playing around with the Trendy Trees set using different colours, and I’ve seen lots of different combo colours around. Might have to play some more…!!!
