A Pretty Little Purse!

I found a new purse/ handbag design that I wanted to try out and I used it recently for a little door prize gift! This design was found on the very talented Keesh’s blog and she even has a fantastic tutorial in case you want to have a go at making one yourself!

This was pretty simple to follow and fun to make and I think they look really pretty!

I made one design using Almost Amethyst cardstock and Tea Party DSP with a little Pretty in Pink striped ribbon:

To make the scallop circle image in the centre, I just cut out one of the flowers from the DSP, mounted it on a 1 3/8″ punched circle of Pretty in Pink and then put that on an Almost Amethyst scallop circle! Add a velcro dot to seal the purse and you are all ready to go!

Here’s the inside – perfect for some notecards or a chocolate bar or a little present! 


I also made one using the Bella Rose DSP with some Riding Hood Red cardstock and some Riding Hood Red striped ribbon:
