A Great Friend

For anyone who is a regular reader of my blog, you will know that I am somewhat addicted to the new Great Friend stamp set and the Walk in the Park DSP! It does seem to be appearing in multiple projects that I have made recently… and I do love how versatile it is!! Who would have know that so many different cards could be made with the same stamp set, DSP and colour palette?! 😉

Just to continue the theme, here is another card that I made recently using the Great Friend stamp set, although I did use different colours! I still used the Walk in the Park DSP, but only the So Saffron paper and I teamed it with one of my all time favourite colour schemes – Rose Red, Regal Rose & Certainly Celery.

Great Friend Windows

This card was based on a design that I saw on Claire Daly’s blog and I adapted it for a workshop. It is probably one of the more fiddly cards I have attempted for a make-and-take, but after I made it, I really loved how it turned out and just couldn’t think of anything else that I wanted to do for the workshop! I had a bit of tunnel vision and could only see this card!! The girls handled it very well and all enjoyed making the card and playing with the different punches!

We also used the markers to colour the words in the sentiment different colours to make the “friend” stand out. This is also a really lovely sentiment that is perfect for a special friend for any of those “just because” occasions!

What stamp set are you currently addicted to?!
