Kristina’s Colour Inspiration Challenge #57

January 13, 2010 at 12:17 am 16 comments

I have only just arrived home from our Christmas trip to New Zealand & Sydney and I’m still settling back in, but after seeing that Kristina Werner posted a new Colour Challenge, I simply HAD to sit and have a play at my stamping table! So, after jumping around madly with excitement (a Kristina challenge – yay!!), I set to work to make a card.

Here are the colours to challenge us:

It was a lot of colours to play with (5 colours & a neutral?! Phew!), so I decided to keep my card pretty clean and simple!

I used a rectangle of Whisper White on a base of Baja Breeze and added three butterflies punched from various DSP using the Butterfly Punch from the Summer Mini. I added some More Mustard ribbon, a sentiment from Cute & Curly and a bit of bling for the butterflies! Here are the butterflies closeup:

I’ll be back soon to share some more creating and catch up on some things that have been happening while I have been away!

“Butterfly Wishes”
Stamps: Butterfly Prints, Cute & Curly
Paper: Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Sweet Slumber DSP, Washington Apple DSP, Walk in the Park DSP (retired)
Ink: Ruby Red
Accessories: More Mustard Grosgrain Ribbon, Clear Rhinestones, Stampin Dimensionals
