Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #46

I have been so busy with things for the end of the school year, but I have been really wanting to have a good play with my Summer Mini products! I had a good excuse tonight because I needed a birthday card for school, so I simply had to pull my new stamps out for a play! I used Karen Giron’s sketch to help me out as well.
This card uses the For Everything stamp set which has some very cute flower stamps that you can use to mix and match your own flowers! Plus a cute butterfly and bird!
I coloured the stamps with markers to get my multi-coloured flowers and then cut them all out carefully and popped them up! I had to use my fantastic Circle Scissors too and also used the brackets from this set to make my sentiment. I was wanting some thin ribbon to tie a bow at the bottom, but didn’t have any in the colours I wanted, so I coloured a strip of Whisper White ribbon with my Old Olive marker to make my co-ordinating ribbon! It turned out a little darker than I wanted – it probably would have been a better shade if I dyed it with re-inkers.
Here’s a closeup:
Check out the new Summer Mini here and let me know if you would like a copy in the mail!
